The KIA Architecture Award selects architectural works that portray deliberation on humanity and architecture as well as a pioneering spirit every year. It has also helped Korea's modern architecture growth. For more than 40 years, since 1979, the awards have been given to over 400 works, 7 each year, to find the most talented architects in the country.
Contemporary Korean Architects 100 Vol. 1 invites 50 recipients of the KIA awards from 2000 to 2020 and looks at their creations to give you a peek at the contemporary Korean architectural scene.
